Because I am interested in language quality, I work as a professional reviser, stylistically editing and correcting Spanish texts (originals or translations).
I am committed to professional translator training, which is why I also teach and conduct research.
I am a member of the following professional associations: Colegio de Traductores e Intérpretes de Chile (COTICH), International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC), Canadian Association for Translation Studies (CATS/ACT), and the International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies (IATIS). I am also a member of the Universidad de Salamanca’s research group on the history of interpretation, Alfaqueque.
